One of the advance tasks (mikä on ennakkotehtävä enkuks? :l) in the school I'm applying for is 'draw the scenery you see from your window with a ballpoint pen'. I need to practise to draw with a ballpoint pen before I draw the scenery ^^; I've never really liked to draw with ballpoint, but I kinda started to like it while drawing this :o Too bad my pen died before I finished it ;__;

She's one of my characters, Rose. The thing in the hem is supposed to be a frill, but I couldn't finish it because of the pen~ :\

little dodgy around the eyes but pretty damn kewl. take it your writing a manga?

as for the eye thing, do i line acroos where the eyes should be, this will help you balancing them. [if you know this, sorry for being patronising ^_^]

I keep making characters, even though I don't even have a story for my comic yet :D But yes, I've been planning to do a comic.. when I write the story first *cough* ;;>.>

I don't like using the line things, because they make the face/anatomy look even more crappy :D I've noticed that I have always problems with the left eye :s Eagh, gotta keep practising.

try outlining your body shape in light pencil then working other it, at first i thought that all that stuff was a waste of time, but when you do it, you realise it infinatly imporves your charecters and opens up new poses and stuff.

so you draw but dont write? intersting, fancy doing a few concept art works for some charecter in sotries that i've wrote.

[ i used to run a manga house but the illustators all had to quit when uni time came around, so i'm left with all these stories and no one to draw them, not even the concepts [im not that good].]

what you say? just for fun?
